Engineering recruitment addition

The Ambit Recruitment Group has announced the addition of a specialist engineering recruitment business to its stable of recruitment brands.

Ambit Engineering - formerly TRS - is the latest addition of specialist recruitment businesses following its full integration into the Ambit Recruitment Group, which oversees all aspects of Ambit's specialist recruitment business units.

The chief executive of the Ambit Recruitment Group, Nicholas Barnett, said the formal name change came almost a year after Ambit acquired TRS from previous owner Fluor Daniel, and gave the company time to be fully integrated into the Ambit recruitment offering.

"Clients have been fully assured that the great service delivery they previously experienced with TRS will be strengthened under the Ambit Engineering name, and internally we expect to leverage the power of Ambit Engineering by virtue of association with Ambit Recruitment Group," Barnett said. Barnett added that the full integration of Ambit Engineering into the Ambit Recruitment Group would enable greater exposure in all employment sectors and industries.
