Schneider Electric, the Australian distributor of MDT Software, has released the latest version of AutoSave, designed to protect, save, restore, discover and track changes in industrial programmable devices and documents.

AutoSave unifies automation software under one common user interface allowing customers to maximise production and reduce error and downtime. An improved Reports Module allows users to generate reports from historical data stored in the AutoSave database. In addition, this version of AutoSave includes a licence utility tool, the MDT Broker, designed to provide a simple, graphic view of the steps required to install or change an AutoSave licence.

The latest version of AutoSave also includes a number of key enhancements and, most significantly, is now able to support Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 64-bit. AutoSave is used in almost every industry for automated manufacturing devices including the water and wastewater, mining and minerals, food and beverage, and utilities sectors.

Other major customer benefits of the AutoSave MDT Broker include automatic sending, receiving and installation of licence files (including when the server has no connection to the internet), the ability to obtain a temporary licence in the event of hardware or network changes, greater visibility into licence parameters, and designation of preferred contact for licence issues or support renewal.
