MatrikonOPC OPC UA Embedded Server software development kit
MatrikonOPC has announced the release of its OPC UA Embedded Server software development kit (SDK), which enables users to quickly and easily incorporate native OPC-UA connectivity directly in their embedded devices.
The SDK is purpose built for microprocessor and microcontroller environments where minimal memory use and highly optimised execution is essential due to the limited resources available, and can be integrated into every class, from discrete sensors and actuators to programmable controllers.
This single product is fully configurable and scalable from microcontrollers with 64 kB RAM up to high-end embedded systems based on ARM9, ARM Cortex-Ax and x86 based processors such as the Intel Atom. The product can be optimised for minimum RAM and flash utilisation or for large data sets and multiple concurrent client connections.
