Due to its small design, the STM safety switch with its plastic housing is suitable for applications in which robustness is required in combination with small dimensions.
In addition to the version with plastic-encapsulated actuating head, the STM safety switch is optionally available with metal-encapsulated actuating head and cam. This version is suitable for applications with high locking forces (up to 2000 N).
Features also include a separate actuator, guard locking and guard locking monitoring, a separate switching element for guard locking monitoring (one contact element) and door monitoring (two contact elements). The unit is suitable for door radii down to 300 mm and has an IP67 protection rating.
