Leuze electronic MSI-SR5 safety relay with AND function
The MSI-SR5 safety relay can be used to connect several safety components so as to act on a single switch-off circuit using a logical AND link. Using the one relay, for example, the combined application of a safety light curtain for point of operation guarding and a protective door for access guarding can be realised up to Performance Level PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1.
It is also possible to connect two light beam safety devices or combine a safety light curtain with a protective door and several e-stop buttons. For the user, this leads to a number of advantages with respect to price, compactness and minimum installation cost. The device provides a short response time of 10 ms. Additional functions such as the start/restart interlock and contactor monitoring are also provided.
