The Magnus RFID sensors from Reer have a wide application range due to the compact and versatile design. They are mechanically compatibility with the Magnus MG series.

The RFID technology enables the sensors to be individually coded in three different ways to allow for appropriate tamper protection in all applications. The highest configurations allow each sensor to be paired with one assigned actuator.

The RFID technology allows for safety levels up to PL e/SIL 3, including when connecting the sensors in series. As a result, the RFID sensors can be simply integrated into existing safety scenarios, offering a simple solution for modifying and upgrading machines.

The sensors are suitable for many industrial applications, including food and beverage, packaging, pharmaceuticals, printing, paper, logistics, renewable energy, chemicals and injection moulding.
