The Pilz IO-Link Safety Master PDP 67 IOLS enables point-to-point communication up to field level and can be a Profinet/Profibus slave device. Users can connect IO-Link sensors and classic safety sensors alongside the IO-Link Safety devices.

The product features four 2FDIO, giving eight failsafe digital inputs and outputs (configurable as two inputs or two outputs on one port) and four Type A IO-Link Safety ports. Sensor and actuator connections are 5-pin M12 ports; 25-byte FS input and 25-byte FS output data is supported for each port (IOL-S Spec).

Protection class is IP67/IP69K, and the supported ambient operating temperature range is -30 to +70°C, with an operating voltage of 24 VDC.

The product is designed to provide safe point-to-point communication from the controller to the sensor in the field, according to IEC 61139-2, and supports a maximum safety level up to PL e (EN ISO 13849-1) or SIL 3 (IEC 61508/62061).
