IEI Technology IOVU-430M multi-touch panel PC

IEI Technology has introduced an industrial-grade, multi-touch panel PC, the IOVU-430M.

While single-point touch sensor is common for panel PC and operating terminals, the IOVU-430M multi-touch operating terminal provides a 4.3″ widescreen WQVGA TFT LCD screen with a whole plane, projected-capacitor multi-touch function to enhance the interaction between human and machine. The iPhone-style multi-touch input function provides flexible touch control, enabling users to use more than one finger at a time to scroll the content, resize the window and rotate pictures.

Powered by an XScale RISC-based CPU and Windows CE 5.0, it provides high performance and low power consumption. It has an open architecture for system integrators and application developers to invent any type of user interface and application software.

Due to its rugged, compact design with plastic housing, fanless system and wide operating temperature, the panel PC is suitable for operating terminals in applications such as industrial automation, home/building automation and man-machine-interface applications.

The panel PC offers built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, CANbus and GPIO interfaces and a mini, secure digital card slot for storage extension.
