Red Lion's latest addition to the G3 series of operator interfaces is the G315C touch screen. The G315C offers a large 15" TFT active matrix 32K colour XVGA 1024 x 768 pixel LCD and a 10-button keypad for on-screen menus.

The G315C combines powerful features normally found only in PC-based HMIs with the reliability of a dedicated operating system allowing it to provide SCADA-like functionality at a fraction of the cost. With up to six serial ports the G315C allows communication to virtually any serial device while the ethernet port supports up to four protocols simultaneously providing unprecedented connectivity.

As with all G3 panels, the G315C also includes a USB programming port, an expansion slot for the addition of fieldbuses, an integrated protocol converter, built-in web server, CompactFlash socket and IT-ready data logging all programmable via free Crimson 2.0 software which is downloadable from the web.
