IICA to hold technology expo in regional NSW
The Institute of Instrumentation Control and Automation (IICA) will hold a technology expo in Orange, NSW, on 1 June.
The event will include more than 40 exhibitors, including Emerson Process Management, Phoenix Contact, AMS Instrumentation & Calibration and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
A keynote presentation will feature representatives from Rockwell Automation and Rexel Industrial Automation discussing a case study from Devro, a locally based supplier of collagen casings for sausages and other meat products. Devro is now a technology leader within the industry, having updated the plant’s visualisation and information systems. The presentation will explain how their SCADA and information software upgrade was achieved with no downtime.
The expo is free to attend and will be held at the Orange Ex-Service’s Club on Wednesday, 1 June from 2–6pm. For more information, or to register your attendance, click here.
