Citect celebrates 35 years in business
Citect has celebrated 35 years in the automation industry this September.
Citect’s CEO, Christopher Crowe, made an address to all Australian offices on the occasion, highlighting some of the milestones Citect has achieved in its 35 years, including the introduction of CitectSCADA in 1987, the signing of the first distributor in 1992 and listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1997.
The company has grown exponentially since its inception in 1973, expanding into US, European and Asian markets along the way. It was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2006.
