Accolades for Yokogawa's distributed control system
Yokogawa has been named as the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Asia–Pacific Distributed Control System (DCS) Company of the Year for the outstanding performance of its DCS across the Asia–Pacific region.
The award recognises Yokogawa’s high market share in the Asia–Pacific DCS market, high-quality engineering support and service, competitive price and strong customer base. Its involved presence in the Asia–Pacific market also contributed to this success.
“Yokogawa is honoured to receive this award. This endorsement by Frost & Sullivan and by the market clearly affirms Yokogawa’s commitment to customers’ excellence,” said Kersi Aspar, executive vice-president of Yokogawa Engineering Asia.
“We are also confident that our leadership position will be strengthened with the newly launched Centum VP, a new integrated production control system that goes beyond the traditional DCS functions to deliver operational excellence solutions to our customers for achieving a safe, reliable and profitable plant.”
In April this year, Frost & Sullivan conferred on five Yokogawa companies in the region — including Yokogawa Australia — the prestigious Market Leadership Awards for Distributed Control System (DCS) in their individual countries.
