Champion Compressors has launched its upgraded variable output compressor (VOC) series. The VOC series has been redesigned to further enhance its ruggedness for use in heavy industrial applications. The latest VOC range employs a direct-coupled gear-drive system designed for harsh, dirty and aggressive environments.
Utilising fully compliant MEPS II high-efficiency motors, the upgraded VOC series is available in 55 to 250 kW models with free air delivery capacities of 10.1 to 43.7 m3/min and operating pressures of 7.5, 10 and 13 bar.
The VOC series utilises state-of-the-art flexible drive couplings, which facilitate coupling replacement thereby reducing maintenance downtime. With an ambient temperature rating of 50 °C, they are designed to meet the rigorous demands of heavy industry in the harsh Australian environment.
The VOC series is fully customisable through a wide range of standard production and end-user specified options, to suit almost any application and environment.
