SMC has released a range of nickel-plated brass fittings. The KQB nickel-plated brass fitting has a 304 stainless steel release collar with a high-temperature rating.
The KQB range of fittings is rated to temperatures up to 150°C and is suitable for air, water (hot or cold) and vacuum. A special tube insert is used to enhance the integrity of the flexible tube at temperatures above 80°C. SMC can offer a range of tubing to suit higher temperature applications. KQB fittings are supplied with a non PTFE-based thread sealant.
Available in a variety of configurations including tees, straights, elbows and joiners, the KQB range has thread connection sizes from M5 to ½" BSPT and suits tube sizes ranging from 4 to 12 mm OD.
