WIKA air2guide series of measuring instruments

Friday, 13 November, 2009 | Supplied by: WIKA Australia

WIKA has introduced the air2guide series of measuring instruments for mandatory filter and fan monitoring in ventilation and air conditioning (VAC) including the air2guideP mechanical differential pressure gauge, the air2guideP+E mechanical differential pressure gauge with analog display and analog output signal, and the air2guideF volume flow gauge.

The differential pressure gauges are available for filter monitoring in the standard measuring ranges of 0 to 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 3000 and 6000 Pa, and can be installed and dismantled without the need for tools.

Installation time can be reduced by up to 50% and the devices are designed for dry, clean, non-aggressive and non-combustible gases, mainly air.

The series, available panel or surface mounted, includes differential pressure gauges (mechanical and electronic) for filter monitoring, inclined tube manometers, differential pressure switches and differential pressure transmitters (for monitoring fans and ventilators).

Duct/immersion temperature sensors and duct/wet-bulb temperature sensors for measuring temperature and relative humidity in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems are also available. An air quality sensor, used to measure volatile organic compounds in the air, can also be used to measure the CO2 content of the atmosphere.
