Thermo Fisher UNIK 5000 pressure-sensing platform

The UNIK 5000 pressure-sensing platform combines silicon technology and analog circuitry with modular design. Typical applications are in the oil and gas, automotive, aerospace and power generation sectors, as well as in test equipment, pneumatics and hydraulics, and other process industries.

UNIK 5000 sensors are available with pressure ranges from 70 mbar (1.5 psi) to 700 bar (10,000 psi). There are three grades of performance - industrial, improved and premium - offering accuracies from 0.2 to 0.04%. A range of pressure connectors is available and electrical connectors may be selected to suit most environments with operating temperature ranges from -55 to 125°C. A suite of eight electronics boards allows a choice of outputs suitable for most applications and a further configurable option is available to allow a customer to specify a voltage output. All units feature high overpressure capability and high-grade stainless steel construction and are compliant with global and regional certification bodies.
