The N11 series from Showa Measuring Instruments includes single axis, general purpose-type foil strain gauges.
The materials, against which the strain gauges are self-temperature compensated, include mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium alloy. A gauge resistance of 350 or 120Ω is available. Customers can specify gauge length, length of lead wires and whether waterproofing is required. Both static and dynamic strain can be measured. Distant and multipoint measurements are also possible. Showa strain gauges have been proven to be versatile for many different types of stress and strain analysis applications.
