The EnergE is a rugged, portable, 60-channel data acquisition system designed to be a portable recording and display system for analysis and fault-finding in all plant processes. The EnergE can be configured to accept any combination of input including Modbus, digital and analog. This allows recording of parameters such as power, compressed air, temperature, flow and level, as well as setpoints, process variables and current state of controlled objects.

Built in Australia from European and US components, the EnergE can be expanded to allow for a range of user-defined extras including: radio connection between sensors/transducers and recorder, SMS alarming of user-defined abnormalities, battery backup for power outages, and battery condition monitoring.

The EnergE has a colour touch screen that is easy to read with the most recent trend displayed, and information can be presented in groups to allow an easy interface for data retrieval. The system is housed in a lockable IP68 case.

With 1.5 GB of internal data memory, the EnergE can simultaneously record 60 channels, at up to 10 times/s, which equates to 12 months’ recording of 10 channels at 1 sample/s - 250 million samples in total. These values are retrieved by USB flash drive. Software is included that allows the user to present the retrieved data in numerous formats.
