The Schmidt flow sensor SS 20.260 offers a measuring range of 0-50 m/s and an operating temperature range of up to 120°C. The temperature can be measured with an additional linear output, and a separate temperature sensor is not required. The unit has a robust construction to protect it against impact.

The unit is an immersion sensor with an integrated transducer. The sensor can be used in free air and guided air in ducts from 25 to 1000 mm to measure air, nitrogen, argon and other non-burnable gases. Measuring ranges are 0-2.5/10/20/40/50 mps at atmospheric pressure.

The power supply is 24 VDC with a power consumption of only 30 mA. Outputs include 0-10 V and 4-20 mA.

The stainless steel sensor tube is available in custom lengths and thus can be placed at the correct position regardless of the duct size. Two LEDs indicate the correct operation or indicate wrong supply voltage or sensor defects.

Applications include flow measurement in air ducts; volume flow measuring in test benches; control of combustion air in oil, wood, gas or coal burners; and flow control in cooling or drying constructions.
