Pressure switch

The 50D is an IP65-rated electronic pressure switch suitable for use in pressure ranges -1 to 0 bar, -1 to 1 bar, 0 to 6 bar and 0 to 10 bar. It has two electric outputs with four output options: 2xPNP, 2xNPN, PNP+analog and NPN+analog. The analog output is freely programmable in the ranges of 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V. The second output can be programmed as a diagnostic output allowing faster error detection.

The 50D allows for rapid fault indication via its large colour display that can be electronically rotated by 180°. This will change colour in the event of a fault, thus providing a visible malfunction signal which can be seen over a distance of several metres.

The 50D offers simple, intuitive operation using three large, ergonomically designed keys with defined pressure points. All parameters are set via two menu levels. The first menu level is used to set basic functions such as upper and lower switching points, while level two is used to define expanded functions (eg, input filter, blocking code, time delays for switching the unit on and off). The electronic lock via a freely selectable code prevents unintended or malicious changing of settings. In addition, time-controlled access protection can be activated to prevent inadvertent mistakes in operation.

For pneumatic connection the 50D is equipped with a G 1/4" female thread either on the back or on the bottom of the housing or with 4 mm (5/32") push-in fittings. G 1/4", G 1/8", NPTF 1/4, NPTF 1/8 can be implemented via a thread adapter (available as an accessory).
