PG electronic contact manometer

The electronic contact manometer PG combines the characteristics of a high-quality pressure transmitter with 0.2 % accuracy, a 4-20 mA analog output signal and a switching output with the good readability of an analog manometer display.

The use of high-quality materials, the hygienic design and the IP69K protection rating make the unit suitable for applications in the food and beverage and other process industries.

The unit conforms to the requirements of FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group).

The combination of a contact manometer and Aseptoflex Vario process adapter with Elastomer or PEEK seal also makes the unit 3A-compliant.

The unit is based on a high-purity (99.9%) Al₂O₃ ceramic measuring cell, and the measured signal is evaluated by a microcontroller, which also triggers the stepper motor used for the pointer display. For this reason, no damping liquid - as commonly used for mechanical contact manometers - is required to improve the vibration and shock resistance.

The materials used make the unit resistant to the chemicals and cleaning agents that are commonly used in CIP and COP applications.
