Endress+Hauser has developed a range of compact, wafer-style magnetic flowmeters that are lightweight and cost effective. Known as the Promag 10/50D, the range has been specifically designed to reliably record water flow in pipelines where flowmeter weight and size are important design considerations.
Promag 10/50D’s housing design incorporates bolt centring guides, making them easy to install at the exact centre of a pipeline, ensuring high accuracy and a perfect seal.
Promag 10/50D’s rugged, cast aluminium, sensor housing features built-in stainless steel grounding discs as standard — one less thing for installers to worry about. Their ultra short tube length makes it possible to retrofit into most existing installations without cutting the pipe work.
The meter’s compact sensor is foam filled to provide a high degree of immunity to vibration and humidity. With an environmental protection rating of IP67, the devices are at home in the most arduous conditions.
Due to their design and material selection, they have been approved for drinking water applications by several internationally recognised water authorities.
These meters incorporate Endress+Hauser’s Promag 10/50 transmitters making them fully compatible with the company’s Fieldcare software and Fieldcheck verification tool. Transmitters are available with a full range of output configurations, including 4-20 mA, frequency totaliser, HART and Profibus.
With an accuracy of ±0.5%, the Promag 10/50D can provide a reliable, compact and cost-effective flow measurement solution for all water applications.
