ifm efector type TW non-contact temperature sensors

Friday, 26 September, 2014 | Supplied by: ifm efector pty ltd

The TW type non-contact temperature sensors are designed for temperature measurement of hot objects up to 2500°C, and show the temperature value on a display or transmit it as an analog or switching signal to a controller. To achieve maximum accuracy, users can select from sensors with different spectral ranges for different temperature ranges. For a precise measurement, the emissivity of the target object can be set using push-buttons and the display.

Scratch-resistant precision lenses minimise the impact of divergent light. In combination with different lengths of optical fibre to separate measuring heads, the sensors can be used at extremely high ambient temperatures up to 250°C.

Besides variants with switching and analog outputs (4-20 mA), sensors with two freely programmable switching outputs are also available.
