Hawk FPM Flotation PulpMaster level instrument
HAWK Measurement Systems has launched the FPM Flotation PulpMaster, a continuous level measurement system designed to meet the demands of flotation cell pulp and liquid level management. Built with pulse-guided RF float level technology, the FPM is engineered to provide higher precision, reliability and low-maintenance operation.
The HAWK FPM offers advanced accuracy and signal recognition algorithms as well as a project-specific design high-density polyethylene (HDPE) float with a low coefficient of friction, specifically designed to prevent build-up and jamming in harsh pulp environments. The float design helps ensure continuous, accurate level measurement, eliminating the risks of pulp overspill or froth undercarriage. The impedance-matched pulsed RF technology is said to respond solely to the actual pulp and liquid level, with zero interference from froth levels, allowing highly accurate level detection of the pulp level for optimal foam overflow performance.
