Furness Controls differential pressure transmitter
The Furness Controls FCO352 is a fully configurable, industrial differential pressure transmitter available in measurement ranges from ±5 Pa to ±20 kPa full scale. The core transducer is based on the Furness Controls flat diaphragm design which allows the accuracy to be maintained down towards zero — reliably performing to ±0.25% of reading.
This compact and robust unit, which is rated to IP66, has been designed to meet the requirements of high-sensitivity and low-range pressure measurements. Typical applications include: combustion pressure measurement and control of industrial furnaces; air pressure measurement and control of dryers, kilns and ovens; and airflow measurement in conjunction with Pitot static tubes, orifice plates or venturi.
When used for airflow measurement, this unit is claimed to allow a much higher turndown ratio than is possible with conventional transducers.
Programmable range changing, engineering units and display options are features of this microprocessor-based differential pressure transmitter. Selection of all functions is via a 4-button keypad or a PC. The alphanumeric 4½-digit LCD clearly displays the signal reading and selected units.
