ESI PR3200 differential pressure transmitter

Tuesday, 25 November, 2014 | Supplied by: ADM Systems Pty Ltd

The ESI PR3200 differential pressure transmitter uses two titanium alloy pressure sensors, giving high stability and performance with true wet/wet operation. It is suitable for use with all liquids and gases compatible with stainless steel and titanium.

ESI’s silicon-on-sapphire sensor technology delivers high performance and stability over a wide temperature range, as well as enduring higher overpressures and providing corrosion resistance.

The PR3200 pressure transmitter is suitable for applications such as flow measurement with orifice plates and mass flow meters, static differential pressure measurement and control in combustion chambers, condition monitoring and filter monitoring in high-pressure hydraulic systems or any application on liquid or gas requiring reliable differential pressure measurement.

For electrical connection, ESI has opted for the industry-standard DIN plug and socket. The default electrical output is 4-20 mA; however, 0-5 VDC and 0-10 VDC options are also available.

Users can access the zero and span adjustment by removing the top plate, making on-site adjustment easy. The standard pressure connection is two 1/4″ BSP female connections and other options are available on request. A mounting plate is available for bulkhead mounting.

Pressure measuring ranges available are from 0-500 mbar DP to 0-200 bar DP. An optional IECEX certified version of the PR3200 is also available, approved for explosion protection for flammable gases (zone 0), dusts (zone 20) and mining areas (group I M1).
