Electronic pressure and temperature switches

United Electric Controls has announced the availability of an explosion-proof addition to its One Series line of digital electronic pressure switches and temperature switches.

Designed to meet the needs of harsh and hazardous applications, the One Series is available in explosion-proof pressure and temperature models with IECex Certification for Division 1 (Zone 1) and Division 2 (Zone 2) areas. With up to two fully adjustable set points and deadbands, available 4-20 mA analog output and no moving parts, these instruments can now be used in a wide variety of applications. There are a variety of power options ranging from 2-wire discrete and analog loop-powered models to externally powered models that can deliver up to 280 VAC at 10 A to the load.

With its integral digital display and 4-20 mA output, the One Series can effectively do the job of three — replacing a switch, a gauge and a transmitter.

The One Series features tamper resistance, intuitive programming, and a set-up that is fast and easy. It is a reliable, cost-effective solution for alarm and shutdown applications that demand a switch that never needs calibration, and has programmable adjustability and 0.1% repeatability. It can be seamlessly integrated into a safety instrumented system that requires instruments with self-diagnostics.

Common applications for the One Series are process line and vessel protection, pumps and compressors, lubricating oil monitoring, hydraulic oil pressure monitoring, filter monitoring, safety systems and drop-in replacements for mechanical switches.
