The A6000 series universal-type digital panel meter from Asahi Keiki features a four-digit 20 mm red or green LED main display, and four-digit 6 mm red LED sub displays. It allows for fast and accurate readings of a selection of inputs, displaying them in the form required by the user. AC and DC voltage/current, resistance, thermocouple, frequency, strain gauge and process inputs can all be measured to high accuracy in an assortment of ranges.

For example, in the case of thermocouple, nine different ranges, using different sensors and measuring between -100 and 1700ºC, can be used. Resolution of up to 0.1ºC is possible with this panel meter, and accuracy lies between ±0.15% and ±0.6% of full scale using digital linearisation.

Output options for this display include BCD, analog, RS232C and RS485.The A6000 runs off a 100-240 VAC or 12-48 VDC supply with a power consumption of 8 VA at maximum load. Conversion rate is up to 1000 samples/s. The unit weighs 450 g and has dimensions of 96 mm(W) x 48 mm(H) x 97.5 mm(D).
