ABB FCB330 and FCB350 compact Coriolis mass flowmeters

The ABB FCB330 and FCB350 are compact Coriolis mass flowmeters for measuring gases and liquids.

The FCB330 and FCB350 are part of the CoriolisMaster family of direct mass flow measurement products and provide accurate measurements of multiple variables with a single device: flow (mass and volume), density, concentration and temperature.

The double tube design has no moving parts and requires no up- or downstream piping, saving more than 40% in length and meter volume. This minimises maintenance and installation space, and allows retrofitting of older flowmeters in tight places where Coriolis meters couldn’t be used in the past. The design also uses wider inner tube diameters, producing lower pressure drops and higher capacities. This saves up to 25% pump power, making them a better alternative to mechanical meters and their requisite filters that can cause pressure drops and blocked pipes.

The FCB330 and FCB350 are designed for a variety of flow measurement applications in the oil and gas, chemical, power, and food and beverage industries. The meter features an optimised sensor with high zero point and temperature stability. A sturdy self-draining design and advanced DSP technology allow detection of low flow signals and minimise the effects of pipeline vibration and interference.

The meters support pipe sizes from DN15 to DN150, and the devices are available as an integral mount design with internal transmitter, and also as a remote mount design with external transmitter.

Approvals include FDA/3A/EHEDG for hygienic applications. They are also available with ATEX and/or FM hazardous area approvals.
