Emerson flow calibration service receives ISO17025 certification

Emerson Australia has announced that its Australian Flow Calibration Centre has been successfully accredited to ISO\IEC 17025 by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA). Emerson offers a high-precision flow calibration service for its Micro Motion, Rosemount Flow and Daniel products, as well as many other flowmeter brands.

The Melbourne-based facility has been designed to stringent engineering and quality standards, achieving ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and provide a high-quality flow calibration service. With its central location, the Flow Calibration Centre can improve process efficiency, enhance product quality and help organisations conform to regulatory requirements by providing fast, reliable and quality calibration services.

The calibration centre is capable of calibration accuracies to 0.05% mass flow uncertainty over a range of 6–5000 kg/min, ±0.06% volume flow uncertainty over a range of 6–5000 L/min and ±0.3 kg/m3 density over a range of 995–999.7 kg/m3. Line sizes supported include process connections from 3 to 200 mm.

Industries served include oil and gas, metals and mining, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, water and wastewater.
