Michell Instruments’ MIC0005-IS intrinsically safe field display provides a cost-effective, easy-to-install solution where a local display is required directly in hazardous areas.

Primarily intended to act as a monitor for a locally-installed intrinsically safe dewpoint transmitter - such as the Easidew TX I.S. or Easidew PRO I.S. - the loop-powered display is certified by ATEX, FM and IECEx for use in hazardous areas and has an IP66 rating. It also complements Michell’s Liquidew I.S. and Promet I.S. process analysers for moisture measurements in process gases and liquids, as it can be installed either as part of the sampling system or in a convenient position nearby.

The monitor may be configured to display measurements in ppmV (for moisture in gases), ppmW (for moisture in liquids), as well as dewpoint in °C or °F. The easy-to-read, 4-digit LCD gives scope for showing wide ranges and high resolutions. A range of optional extras is also available, including a loop-powered backlight to allow easy reading in low light conditions, a keypad for re-ranging and also a tag-plate to aid identification.
