McCrometer Wafer-Cone flowmeter
The McCrometer Wafer-Cone flowmeter is a space-saving unit for small line size processes that is easy to install. It is suitable for tight-space installations and retrofits, and is said to require almost no maintenance.
The Wafer-Cone flowmeter uses the same principles as the McCrometer V-Cone flowmeter. Its self-conditioning means little or no upstream or downstream piping runs are required.
The wafer-cone features a flangeless design. The element is easily replaced to accommodate changing flow conditions, and recalibration is not required. It is a suitable low-cost solution to tough flow measurement problems in water and wastewater, chemicals, food and beverage, plastics, pharmaceuticals, district HVAC, textiles, power and oil/gas production.
