SPI Mag 3000 insertion electromagnetic flow meter
The SPI Mag 3000 is an electromagnetic insertion meter for municipal and industrial flow applications. It is designed to provide accurate measurement of liquid flow in closed conduit and pressurised pipe applications. The SPI measures forward flow only and is suitable for line sizes from 50–2500 mm and can be easily re-located to various line sizes. Velocity and pipe diameter information are utilised by the SPI Mag 3000 to determine flow over wide flow ranges with a high degree of accuracy.
The SPI Mag 3000 reliably measures flow in water and wastewater as well as any type of industrial flow processes involving conductive fluids such as potable water, slurries, sludge, cooling water and pulp stock. It utilises the McCrometer pre-programmed Procomm Max Series Transmitter for communication, while a debris-shedding, self-cleaning sensor reduces maintenance. Easy hot tap installation results in no interruption of process flow.
