Hydac EDS 842 pressure switch with IO-Link
The HYDAC 3000 sensor series with integrated digital display includes sensors for the measurement of pressure, temperature, fluid level and oil humidity monitoring, and now includes IO-Link functionality.
The EDS 842 pressure switch now with IO-Link allows it to be used in combination with the HPG or the IO-Link adapter as a flexibly adjustable pressure switch. Compared with the standard version, the IO-Link interface enables bidirectional communication between the device and the control system, making parameterisation and the cyclic transmission of process and service data possible.
Typical fields of application are machine tools, handling and assembly automation, intralogistics or in the packaging industry.
The EDS 842 offers both an IO-Link interface and an additional signal output as PNP transistor switching output or configurable analog output.
