Vega Vegascan 693 universal signal conditioning instrument

Vegascan 693 is a universal signal conditioning instrument for level and process pressure measurements. Besides providing signal connections for up to 15 HART sensors, it enables simple set up and commissioning of the sensors from the switch room.

The data logging instrument can supply up to 15 different HART sensors with power, as well as read in and forward their digital measurement data. Since it operates in HART multi-drop mode, only one 2-wire cable is required for all 15 HART sensors. Up to five HART sensors can be connected in explosion-protected areas without having to install additional Ex barriers.

All measured values can be read any time directly from the display of the instrument in the switch room. The large, clear text display with backlight indicates the recorded measurements in different physical units. The large instrument display enables redundant indication of all measured values, and critical measurement data are still available even in the case of a system failure.

The instrument can be delivered with RS232 interface or with an ethernet connection. Both versions allow simple visualisation of the measurements in tabular form with the help of a web browser. The sensors connected via HART can also be parameterised directly from the instrument or from a PC with the PACTware adjustment software.
