ORing Thunder series gigabit managed ethernet switches
ORing has released the Thunder series, a range of gigabit managed ethernet switches, including the Rail (DIN rail) series IGS-7084GCP; the Rack (rackmount) series RGS-7244GP, RGS-7168GCP; and the PoE series RGPS-7244GP, IGPS-7084GP.
The Rack RGS-7244GP comes standard with 24 10/100/1000BaseTx ports and four 1000BaseFx SFP ports. With support for Ethernet Redundancy Protocol, O-Ring (recovery time <20 ms over 250 units of connection) and MSTP/RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1s/w/D), these switches can protect mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with fast recovery technology. All functions of RGS-7244GP can be managed via the web, telnet, console and CLI.
The Thunder series switches feature 9 kB jumbo frame support, making non-blocking video streams possible.
