ORing IGPS-7084GP redundant ring PoE ethernet switch
The ORing IGPS-7084GP is a fully managed gigabit redundant ring PoE ethernet switch with eight 10/100/1000BaseTx ports, PoE (PSE) function and four 1000BaseX SFP ports. With support for Ethernet Redundancy protocol, the O-Ring (recovery time <20 ms over 250 units of connection) and MSTP/RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1s/w/D), the IGS-7084GP can protect mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions.
Part of ORing’s thunder switch series, the IGPS-7084GP provides advanced IP-based bandwidth management that can limit the maximum bandwidth for each IP device. This series also supports application-based QoS, which can be used to prioritise data streaming according to TCP/UDP port number.
ORing’s IP Police function can restrict network access to only those IP addresses with the MAC address, and the switch also offers advanced DOS/DDOS auto-prevention. For example, if there is a surge detected in a particular IP flow, the thunder switch will block the source IP address for a specified time to prevent a privacy or security breach. As this function is hardware-based prevention, it can block the DOS/DDOS attack immediately and completely, preventing any damage, loss or theft of data.
IGPS-7084GP also supports PoE transmitting up to 30 W of power and data to remote devices over standard twisted-pair cable within an ethernet network.
All functions of IGPS-7084GP can be managed centrally using Open-Vision 3.0 or above.
