Moxa EDS-608/611/616/619 modular managed ethernet switches

Moxa’s EDS-608/611/616/619 series of modular managed ethernet switches offer a large selection of media modules. These high-density modular switches are highly flexible and provide up to three gigabit ethernet ports and up to four modular expansion slots for Fast ethernet modules with a large choice of copper or fibre connectors. The entire line features a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75 ºC as well as hot-swappable media modules for reliable operation.

The EDS-600 series has up to 16 fibre ethernet ports with the additional option of three 1000 SFP slots for gigabit fibre uplinks. By offering users different 4-port ethernet modules with different media options to choose from, users can create the optimal switch solution to match their specific needs, or they can choose to save space for future expansions.

The EDS-600 managed ethernet switches feature versatile software functionality, including Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy with a fast recovery time under 20 ms, Modbus/TCP for integrating with SCADA/HMI systems, LLDP to enable automatic detection of network topology, IPv6 for next generation networking and IEEE 1588 PTP to synchronise devices on a network with sub-microsecond precision.
