CC-Link connectors

The 381 series Link hermaphroditic connectors and series 382 Link PCB connectors for fieldbus applications from 3M can be used in CC-Link/LT industrial automation field network applications. They are available in wire mount (381 series) and right angle PCB mount (382 series).

Their hermaphroditic four-point contact mating structure reduces the number of components required to interconnect and ensures a reliable connection. They provide easy, labour-saving and reliable IDC termination with no special wire preparation — no stripping, tinning or special tooling. A T-Tap termination enables mid-cable terminations without special preparation or handling of the cable or wires in order to interconnect fieldbus and powerlines at any point.

The design accepts multiple wire diameters of 1.8 to 2.54 mm, conductor sizes of 0.50 to 0.75 mm² and discrete wire or flat ribbon cable on 2.54 mm pitch, and they have a 5 A/160 V maximum capability per contact with all four contacts operating.

These RoHS compliant connectors include a latching mechanism to maintain reliable interconnection in demanding field applications, and are colour-coded for easy identification.
