PAANZ celebrates Profibus 20-year anniversary
The Profibus Association of Australia & New Zealand (PAANZ) will celebrate Profibus International's 20-year anniversary this year with a series of events, trade conferences and training seminars in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The events will showcase the Profibus and Profinet technologies and their applications in the mining, food and beverage, water and wastewater, chemical, manufacturing and factory automation industries.
The training program will include the one-day, certified Profibus Installer course (covering layout, installation and maintenance) and the 3.5-day, certified Profibus Engineer course (covering network design, commissioning and live fault-finding).
The Profibus Installer course is suitable for electrical engineers and technicians seeking to upgrade their skills in the installation and testing of complete Profibus DP and PA networks.
The Engineer course is an intensive, theoretical program with a comprehensive test at the end, which provides successful participants with a PI-approved qualification.
The courses are scheduled for Perth (18 May), Melbourne (25 May) and Brisbane (1 June). For more information, visit the PAANZ website.
