Harting’s har-speed M12 connectors are designed to meet the requirements of Cat. 6A and are intended for applications with high bandwidth requirements in machine and plant engineering where rapid and safe data transmission beyond Cat. 5 are increasingly called for.
This recent development is based on the PAS 61076-2-10x, which defines a uniform mating face for 8-pole M12 connectors. The new mating face performs two tasks - shielding in the connector area (shielded wire pairs) and the coding of the mating face - while ensuring failsafe plugging with other 8-pole M12 connectors. Over-moulded variants in different lengths and a crimp connector for on-site assembly are the first products in this range.
