The Allied Telesis IE340L-18GP Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Layer 3 switch is designed to deliver reliable high-performance networking in demanding industrial environments such as manufacturing plants, transport infrastructure, and physical security systems.

The rugged Layer 3 managed switch features 16 Gigabit PoE+ copper ports and two SFP uplinks, providing flexible connectivity for high-density industrial networks. With a switching capacity of 36 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 26.7 Mpps, it delivers the speed required for latency-sensitive industrial and automation applications.

Built for harsh conditions, the switch supports extended operating temperatures from –40 to +65°C and incorporates a fanless design for silent operation and improved reliability in environments subject to dust, vibration and electrical noise.

The IE340L-18GP also includes advanced security and management capabilities, including SSL, SSH and 802.1X authentication, along with support for VLANs, QoS and multiple Layer 3 routing protocols such as OSPF, RIP and BGP.

Additional capabilities such as dynamic PoE allocation, redundant power inputs and industrial protocol support including Modbus/TCP make the switch well-suited to IIoT and automation networks where uptime and reliability are critical.
