Steute Xtreme ATEX/IECEx certified inductive sensors

Steute Xtreme has introduced a line of ATEX and IECEx certified inductive sensors designed for use in Zone 0 and 20 explosive atmospheres and extreme environments.

Units are available in M8, M12, M18 and M30 sizes with a cable or plug-in connector. Models are also available with IP68K or IP69K ratings and for temperatures of -40 to +120°C. Operating voltage range is 10-30 VDC and switching current is 200 mA. Switch outputs include one NO contact, PNP and a 3-wire switch output, and repeatability is less than 3%.

These sensors include inductive interference protection, polarity reversal protection, and short circuit and overload protection.

Typical applications include construction equipment, conveyors, food processing, chemical processing, valve position monitoring, materials handling, and grain storage and processing.
