Stainless steel photoelectric sensor

Thursday, 25 June, 2009 | Supplied by: Omron Electronics Pty Ltd

Constructed with food industry-grade materials, the E3Z-M has been designed so that the detergents and disinfectants used during cleaning do not destroy the sensor — unlike standard plastic and metal types.

Working with food industry and hygiene specialists, the E3Z-M has been purposely developed to meet these demands and achieve an IP69K rating.

The E3Z-M sensor has an optical plate that will not degrade with exposure to cleaning solutions and a stainless steel 316L injection moulded body. It has been tested with cleaning chemicals and high-pressure washdowns, and certified by Henkel-Ecolab.

Laser-etched part marking is used for permanent and durable identification, and the unit is available in thru-beam, diffuse, retro-reflective and background suppression versions.
