Posital ACS II series inclinometers

Posital has extended its range of inclinometers based on MEMS technology with the ACS II series. The devices have shock resistance up to 100g and vibration resistance up to 10g. Their IP69K protection means that they are suited for rugged environments, since they resist high-pressure cleaning and can be installed in mobile machines, and they are designed for a wide temperature range (-40 to +85°C).

Measuring inclination values directly, requiring no mechanical coupling to drive elements, makes these ultra-compact devices more cost effective. Moreover, measuring several axes with only one sensor can minimise installation effort and cost.

The inclinometers are available with a ±80 or 360° measuring range and provide a 0.01° resolution and a 0.1° measuring accuracy. In addition to a CANopen interface, Posital also offers models with an analog, SSI or RS232 connection. The communication parameters can be adjusted via the interface.
