Pepperl+Fuchs MLE76100-8-H-100-RT/59/115/136 background suppression sensor

The MLE76100-8-H-100-RT/59/115/136 background suppression sensor has a hygienic design suitable for the food and beverage industry.

All machines in the food and beverage industry have areas that pose different levels of contamination risk. For product contact zones, the sensor is designed according to European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) guidelines for ‘hygienic design’. It fulfils the requirements for splash zones, ie, the sensor must be easy to clean and be able to withstand food industry harsh processes (ECOLAB, FDA, IP69K). The sensor incorporates ultrasonic, photoelectric, and inductive sensors with a ‘hygienic design’.

Other features include: specially adapted sensor concept for all machine zones from a single source; adapted sensor and mounting solution minimises contamination risk; easy-to-clean sensor design improves microbiological safety; shorter cleaning times for higher machine availability.
