The ML100-8-W sensor with square wide beam can be used to detect transparent objects as well as objects with irregular surfaces.
It is suitable for clear glass/transparent and shiny object detection. Its PowerBeam LED light source provides a very bright, highly visible square light spot and provides simple alignment and commissioning.
Operating status is clearly indicated on the unit and the device is not sensitive to ambient light.
