The Micro-Assembly-System from Deprag Schulz is 450 x 802 x 680 mm in width, depth and height and is lightweight, allowing uncomplicated transportation. The working range is 176 x 176 x 80 mm with a position accuracy of ±1 µm.

Screwdriving, labelling, palletising, clipping, laser inscribing, welding and gluing of the smallest components are possible. Many small component parts can be assembled, a razor put together, an electric toothbrush or a digital camera for example. The DCAM-XS is converted in a few minutes for various assembly steps.

The standard assembly platform is suitable for a large variety of assembly and test tasks such as: production of micro-systems in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry, intricate assemblies in the electrical industry or for medical technology and for dealing with the smallest connection elements such as the screw assembly of mobile phones.

The conversion time of the machine is under a minute. The feeders or process modules can be exchanged for the first time without readjustment of the pick-point. The machine setter simply moves the feeder loading device in the DCAM-XS and connects the energy and signal lines. The feeder is changed easily by hand.

The maintenance of the Micro-Assembly-System occurs remotely. The Deprag specialist logs on through the IP-internet address and carries out online maintenance of the machine. This also includes the diagnosis as well as remote control of individual machine components.

The DCAM-XS basic version consists of a 2-axis system based on linear servomotors, an industry PC and a control cabinet. Easy, one-handed access to the machine components is allowed through the soundproof protective housing. Additional electrical components, process and function modules, on the prepared base frame, can be optimally suited to fit individual requirements.
