Machine vision cameras

PPT Vision has released the Impact T3X Intelligent Cameras. The series delivers high-end machine vision power and flexibility in a compact form factor, with onboard image processing, real-time I/O and 128 MB of onboard memory.

The series includes the T30 (640 x 480 resolution, grey scale), T31 (640 x 480 resolution, remote-head), T32 (640 x 480 resolution, grey scale, ½ CCD format), T33 (640 x 480 resolution, colour), T34 (1024 x 768 resolution, colour), T35 (1024 x 768 resolution, grey scale) T37 (1600 x 1200 resolution, grey scale) and T38 (1600 x 1200 resolution, colour).

The Impact Software Suite is bundled with the cameras, offering more than 120 tools, including OCR, blob analysis, circle gauge, circular pattern find, line find, sub-pixel gauging and many other advanced vision tools that allow users to create vision programs to meet a wide array of application needs. The built-in, preconfigured operator panel displays inspection data and pass/fail results at the touch of a button within the same software application.

The series delivers all the functionality of a high-end vision system in a smart sensor footprint. In addition, the series is compatible with a broad selection of industrial control equipment and instrumentation, offering discrete I/O, serial, EtherNet/IP, TCP/IP, HTTP, Modbus and ActiveX communication protocols.
