LinMot has released a series of stainless steel linear motors with an IP69K protection rating.
The technology of linear direct drives together with the smooth and hygienic design is suited to applications in food, pharmaceutical, packaging machines and many other industrial applications.
These stainless steel motors from LinMot are suitable for replacing pneumatic systems and belt-driven and ball screw linear systems in food processing machines, especially in very harsh or aseptic environments.
LinMot systems are claimed to reduce system complexity, energy and maintenance costs, therefore increasing machine uptime and machine throughput. Linear direct drives allow the machine designer to develop very compact solutions, as no servomotor or gear head is required.
The one IP69K-rated connector is directly mounted on the motor and only one cable between linear motor and servo controller is required, further simplifying installation time and commissioning.
